Side note to all you smart alecs. No, this princess does not represent me in any way. Yes Chris, you are Charles.
One thing could be said for the Donnelingtons. They loved knowledge. The king thrived on knowledge of war and how to take advantage of vassals. The queen's pleasure came of gardening, and methods of punishment. Corn was taught every subject that could be fit into her life, starting when she was 6 months old!
Corn was studying about global warming while sitting next to the toasty fireplace, eating strawberries when she was very rudely interrupted.
"Your highness?" a timid maid whispered.
Corn looked up to glare briefly before going back to her paragraph of the evils of paper.
"Ummm, I, uh, I am sorry to interrupt but..."
"Then don't!" Corn cut her off.
"But your parents! They have sent for you immediately!"
Corn threw her book in a tantrum, scaring the maid out of the room. She hated when anyone interfered with her daily reading. She was curious however to see why exactly her parents were sending for her, so she slowly made her way down the hall, and down the stairs to the throne room.

I don't know becky this sounds an awful lot like you. You know bratty, stuck up, addicted to reading. Pretty sure corn is really Becky.

I am enjoying the continuing chronicals of Corn. You are much more polite than Corn, so I don't know what Chris is talking about!
Love,
Mom
