Trip continued again

I have more pictures now (thanks Mindy and Nathan). Here is our shoes. Random but fun.Look who we ran into!
We went on two water rides. This was the first. It was pretty simple but it had a plunge at the end that got us wet and cooled off!

More trip

Our first day in California, we went to the beach. It was really foggy so it looks dark in this picture, but the water was great, the waves were fun, and the sand was soft!I both love and hate spiders. I hate them in my house, but I think they are soooo cool looking! This one was on the rail at Magic Mountain(six flags). You can't really tell the size from the picture but it was about two inches big, maybe slightly smaller. These spiders were all over! When we saw this one we looked around in the same area for more and found another dozen almost instantly!
This is a strange picture, I know. But it is of the roller coaster called Tsatsu. It was our favorite by far. You hang in a crawl position and then proceed to plunge head first! Another favorite was X2. They actually shoot flames at you!

Hotels: Bad idea, good idea

Ryan and I and others in his family went on a trip to California. We stopped in Vegas for the night on the way down and the way back up. It was an interesting experience. We ended up at the stratosphere. We thought before it might be cool but I would not recommend it to anyone! Ryan and I found hair in our bed(several kinds so not just one person). In the morning we left and as we went around the corner we ran into a drunk guy passed out on the floor with his beer bottle at his feet! We had to do some maneuvering to get around him! This picture is the back of him, after we had safely gotten past! The way home wasn't much better. We were on the freeway in Vegas and passed an accident that the paramedics got to at the same time we did. We
saw a body on the middle of the road. I looked away but Ryan and his mom are both sure he was dead. It was disturbing. Our hotel room was gross again. This time the sink kept backing up, bringing black floaties with it.
Lest you think I am a complainer I will tell you now, the rest of the trip was fantastic! Our hotel in California was amazing! It didn't have the tacky bed covers, but insead, nice white ones with down comforters. The beds were fancy in their design and the whole room was decorated with taste. Here Ryan is enjoying a little "relaxing" time as he watches political shows.

I was going to wait to post the answer but everyone answered so quickly! It was a shopping cart in the tree! I, like Jen, thought it was some trap for creatures but this is what we found when we got closer.

Campus

Ryan and I went on a walk on the USU campus. They have some pretty cool things. This is an amphitheater that is out on a hill.
The campus always has pretty flower beds and I especially liked the colors of this pansy bed.They have a really neat fountain that just begs you to walk in it, and then they post silly signs telling you it is not allowed. That is inhumane!
