Elizabeth Jo

She's here! 7 pounds, 13 ounces. She was 19 and a half inches long. She's beautiful. Seems happy and loves to look around. Here she is being wiped down by the nurse right after being pulled out of mom. She's angry. Such a rough awakening.
Now she is opening her eyes, checking out the world.

Here she is with mom. Just looking around some more.

We'll post more later.

I have to brag a little bit. Ryan got a half scholarship at Des Moine University, too that he found out about tonight. Elizabeth (Ellie Jo) is SOOOO cute, too.

Congrats, congrats, what a wonderful couple of days you have had! Though I think your little Elizabeth takes the cake. What a doll!
I love those first bonding moments with a newborn; there is really nothing like it. I hope you adjust well and-hey, those sleepless moments at 3 am you can always look at each other and say, it could be worse, at least it's not twins!!!
Well little London is beside herself wanting to come hold the new baby. Pretty much every time we're in the car she asks if we're driving to see Becky's baby. Prepare for a phone call from her at the very least, and maybe a few questions like 'how did the doctor take the baby out?' or 'how did the baby get in there?' We'll turn full responsibility over to you. :)
I'm so glad you posted these pictures! Keep 'em coming!!
