Two of Ryan's cousins and I have been making bread on Wednesdays! We wanted to learn how to make different types.
The two babies were playing while we baked. Believe it or not, these two are within 3 weeks of each other. The one on the left weights 22 lbs! And the end result of the bread......eaten!....haha, whoops. I forgot to get a picture. We have so far made two kinds of wheat bread, and a potato bread.
Ellie just being cute.
We like to give Ellie funny hairdo's after her bath. Here is our favorite, the spike.

so cute, our kids were the heavy ones next to everyone else's babies. I'm glad you got a small one.
yummmy...bread...hot out of the oven! sounds fun to bake bread together. Ellie as always is a doll!
I'm glad you didn't get a pic of the bread-my computer can't take any more drool...If it's a good recipe though you are now obligated to pass it along! :)
Love those babies-Ellie's blue eyes are so gorgeous!
Becky, I love making bread too. This is one of my favorite recipes. You can make it in your kitchen aid; I always do. Give it a try and tell me what you think.
Amish White Bread
Ingredients
* 2 cups warm water
* 2/3 cup white sugar
* 1 1/2 tblsp active dry yeast
* 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
* 1/4 cup vegetable oil
* 6 cups bread flour
Directions
1. In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water, and then stir in yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam.
2. Mix salt and oil into the yeast. Mix in flour one cup at a time. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well oiled bowl, and turn dough to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
3. Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes, and divide in half. Shape into loaves, and place into two well oiled 9x5 inch loaf pans. Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch above pans.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.
So Yummy!
