Ethan vs Applesause
Ryan and I went to Chris and Rene's for a weekend. Chris said Ethan would be our entertainment and I didn't quite believe him. However, he was right. I couldn't stop laughing at him. First of all, he was mesmerized with Ryan. He would not look anywhere else! Rene was having a hard time feeding him because he wouldn't look long enough at her to get food in his mouth. Ryan finally had to move next to Rene so Ethan would be facing the right way!
Chris is a bit scary.....
Ah Ethan. This was pure entertainment for us, and torture for you. We fed him unsweetened applesauce(thus tart) and he kept pulling funny faces. He continued eating it though! We could have watched this over and over again(and we did for about 20 mins).

God and education
We know that we are supposed to serve. And we know that God has a specific work for us to do. But do you wonder "what if I don't know what that work is" or "I just don't know how right now"? I was reading in the April Ensign and President Eyring said something that really helped me not feel so worried about missing my change or not being capable. He said
"The Lord knows both what He will need you to do and what you will need to know. He is kind and He is all-knowing. So you can with confidence expect that he has prepared opportunities for you to learn in preparation for the service you will give. You will not recognize those opportunities perfectly... But when you put the spiritual things first in your life, you will be blessed to feel directed toward certain learning, and you will be motivated to work harder."
We really just need to put our confidence in God, and thus confidence and patients for ourselves.

All growed up.
Ryan has graduated!!! Yay!!! And he is a smarty pants and graduated Magna Cum Laude! His degree is in Bio-Chemistry. Now for the next 7 years of school....
